We provide:

  • Comprehensive lymphedema therapy,
  • Education in the area of physio prophylaxis as a measure of preventing disability.
Our Unit provides spacious, well-equipped gyms. There are separate rooms equipped for physiotherapy and massages. We have modern, top quality medical devices. In our work with patients we care about the atmosphere of understanding, warmth and kindness.

The systemic rehabilitation program followed by the Day Center was created for breast cancer patients and/or patients who had other lymph nodes removed.  The main objective of the comprehensive rehabilitation program is providing continuous and comprehensive therapy as well as restoring the cancer patients’ psycho-physical fitness.

The therapeutic program includes:

  • Kinesitherapy – exercises are conducted either individually or in groups,
  • Physiotherapy:  deep oscillation treatment using a Hivamat 200 device, sequential compression massage using a Boa 12-chamber device, limb whirlpool baths, laser therapy, ultrasound, electrotherapy,
  • Comprehensive edema therapy – manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), compression therapy using pneumatic pumps and/or multilayer taping, specifically selected physical exercises,
  • Patient education regarding edema prevention,
  • Occupational therapy
  • Psychotherapy.

Patients of the Daily Rehabilitation Center may take advantage of psychological help in the form of individual consultations, psychological support, neuropsychological diagnosis, as well as extensive physical workout. During they stay, patients take part in group activities and learn relaxation techniques.
